Since its inception in 2009, the SNA has repeatedly demonstrated their commitment to both aiding the public domain as well as the professional and personal growth of it’s members. Hilton Head Heroes
September 15, 2014
In coordination with the Hilton Head Heroes Association. The SNA fulfilled the wish of one child who was diagnosed with a chronic GI disease.
T-Shirt Fundraiser
Ongoing
Coordinated with Barefootprints(TM) to provide short-sleeve t-shirts, long-sleeve t-shirts, and sweatshirt/hoodies for purchase to nursing students from USCB. This is a significant fundraiser for the SNA organization.
Sophomore Meet and Greet
January 21, 2015
Hosted pizza dinner to welcome sophomore students into the nursing program; introduced SNA members and benefits of club membership; and provided "tips and tricks" for success in the program.
2nd Annual "Escape Fire"
January 21, 2015
In coordination with nursing faculty and staff, showed the film in USCB's Hargray building. SNA provided refreshments and opportunities for underclassmen to join SNA, purchase t-shirts, and participate in Sophomore Meet and Greet event.
Dance For Your Health
February 21, 2015
In coordination with Sun City and Beaufort Memorial Hospital, this event was open to all community members. SNA provided health screenings, ushering, and event registration.
20th Annual Kid Fest

Fundraiser for children's books in Beaufort, SC. Assisted in the distribution of children's books and arts and crafts projects for children.
3rd Annual Health Fair
April 1, 2015
The SNA, Department of Athletics, and the Health Promotions worked together to host the third annual health fair at USCB on the Hilton Head Gateway campus. The fair provided valuable services to students, faculty, and staff. Basic health screenings and other informational booths were present to help the USCB community become aware of the many health-related programs, services, and provided located in the community.
